Yaechan Lee
Welcome!
I am Associate Professor at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, Japan. I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from Boston University, and my research interests mainly lie in examining the political economy of finance.
More specifically, my research focuses on mainly two issues. First, I look at the role of public finance in financial market development and creation focusing mainly on the East Asian region. Second, I look at how the policies of the US Federal Reserve have political repercussions on the policy choices of regional economies.
My works have appeared, or are forthcoming in multiple academic journals such as the Review of International Political Economy, Contemporary Politics, Geopolitics, Pacific Review, International Relations of the Asia-Pacific, East Asia: an International Quarterly, among others.
Feel free to contact me for any details.
